Further Education 2019 - 2020

Here is a comprehensive list of 'open events' being hosted by colleges and other post 16 providers over the next few months. We strongly encourage students and families to attend  as many as they can, to get a flavour of what options are available once they complete their studies at Copley Academy. All students, including those considering apprenticeships, should apply to 2 or more colleges to ensure that all bases are covered.

The Manchester College

We are excited to launch a brand new resource for schools and are proud to introduce our ‘Connect2College’ programme attached.

The purpose of this programme is to primarily support your year 11s and may also be beneficial to your year 10 pupils. By creating this programme we want to ensure their journey from school to the College
is as smooth as possible. The programme includes some useful resources, curriculum activities and quizzes for pupils to get involved in from home.

The booklet also links back to a wide range of additional resources that we have just launched on our main website and would encourage your pupils to access:
https://www.tmc.ac.uk/student-life/connect2college

We hope you find it useful and would ask you to share it with your pupils. If you have any questions or queries please contact the School Liaison Team here at The Manchester College.
