What if my child cannot to PE?
Although pupils can be excused from the 'physical' element of PE due to illness or injury, the expectation is that they still get changed into their PE kit. They will still be expected to be involved with the lesson as a coach, official or leader where appropriate. Please can you ensure that you write a note explaining the injury/illness and address it to your child's PE teacher so they can appropriately assess the level of involvement. Thank you for your support, Mr Connolly (Head of PE)

What if my child has an appointment (ie. Dentist) during the school day?
Parents/Carers should supply a note to their child to show to their form teacher. They should also show this to their class teacher at the beginning of their lesson. When ready to leave school for their appointment, pupils should go to 'Reception' with their note, to sign out. On returning to school, they should go back to 'Reception' to sign back into school.
What if I need to take a holiday in term time?
Whilst being fully aware of the significant price difference between term-time and non term-time holidays, the discretion previously given to Headteachers has now unfortunately been removed. Should you consider circumstances to be exceptional, then please contact the attendance team at school, who will look at every individual case.
