Making the best start to Year 11 - Information for Parents

Making the best start to Year 11

“I’m bored!”

Students need to make the best of their summer holidays -relaxing, enjoying themselves and trying new things. Pupils progressing from year 10 into year 11 need to also give some time to staying on top of their GCSE study, so that are fully prepared to make the best start in September.

With this in mind, subject teachers have set year 10 ‘summer projects’ that should be completed over the break. Your child will have the full details but here is a summary for quick reference. Remember that free internet access is available at the local library if students need it.
